Give your gently used items a second life — and help someone in your community.
Clearing out your home? Moving? Downsizing? Before anything goes to the curb, consider donating it. The organizations below are actively accepting items and putting them directly to work in your community. Whether it’s a sofa, a coat, or a set of dishes, someone nearby could use exactly what you’re letting go.
Always call ahead or check the organization’s website before dropping off — accepted items and hours change seasonally. Most organizations cannot accept items that are broken, stained, or in poor condition.

✅ Tips for a Smooth Donation
Call ahead. Accepted items and hours change — a quick call saves a wasted trip.
Clean before you donate. Items should be clean, odor-free, and in working condition.
Check for bed bugs. Upholstered furniture and mattresses should always be inspected before donating.
Bring your receipt. Most organizations provide a tax receipt for your records. Ask if they don’t offer one.
Can’t donate it? If an item is too worn to donate but not trash, check our companion guide: Lehigh Valley & Pocono Recycling & Disposal Resource Guide for responsible disposal options.
